Twins, Jimmy Carter, Price is Right

Nice work by the Twins - showing little sign of rust and sweeping the Orioles. Our starting pitching was much better than expected. Important to note that a new pitching coach can really revive a career, and let's hope that is the case with Ortiz, who won a World Series game not so long ago. Hopefully Ponson and Silva can make similar progress and give us a good chance this year. We're in arguably the toughest division in baseball, so we've gotta have a solid rotation.

In other news, did you know that Jimmy Carter was going to go to Syria with Nancy Pelosi, but that the White House wouldn't let him?

Carter said he recently wanted to visit Syria, in connection with a Palestinian election, but "for the only time in my life, as a former president, I was ordered by the White House not to go."

The hunt is on for the next host of of The Price is Right. I still believe legendary blogger Carson Derry still has a chance, but I had no idea that he was competing with powerhouses such as Mario Lopez.

I have already inquired to cbs and fremantle today in regards to this position. Mario fucking Lopez? He wasn't even that cool on Saved by the Bell. Zach Morris would be a better host.
The only promise I saw was J. Peterman.
But still, I'll have my letter of appeals up soon on the PIR blog.

And I'm going to Vegas tomorrow! wish me luck.

Carson, see if you can gamble and win that hosting job - look for Mr. Barker somewhere in the Mirage.
