internet and the Third World

slashdot has really been on a roll for the past couple of weeks. It seems like every day there are at least a couple of really interesting articles. Yesterday's great story was about an interview with Ethan Zuckerman. To be honest, I haven't even read the interview yet, only a couple of his papers...but they're quite good, and (get this) REFERENCED!! One of my pet peeves is when some author (whom I know to be intelligent) spits out some HUGE article, but doesn't name any sources for us fact-checkers out there...
