Medicare (non-)scandal

Okay, so let me get this straight...the head of Medicare fudges some numbers about how much Medicare would really cost. The Bush administration gets to send out a pretty budget package which makes it appear Medicare won't really be that expensive...so what happens to Scully, the ex-head of Medicare? Oh, he gets some of his pay taken away, but it pales in comparison to the dough he's making now that he's a lobbyist for a bunch of evil comanies like Abbott Labs and Caremark Rx, just to name a few...here's the story (NYTimes...registration).

At least Kerry is starting to bite back: "the Bush administration broke the law by covering up the true cost of their phony Medicare bill.''

In a just country, these capitalist-turned-government-turned-capitalist-again cronies would have their faces on wanted posters...
