Abuse at Gitmo, Idiots in Fallujah

The Guardian has posted a new article that states that the Bush team knew of abuses at Gitmo as early as the autumn of 2002...and naturally, did nothing about it.

Also, a U.S. Marine Corps general has condemned the military tactics employed in Fallujah. Apparently some of the ex-Iraqi Army personnel (who were given control of the city) were surrendering weapons, vehicles and the like over to the insurgents. Maybe if we hadn't disbanded the Iraqi army the instant we got down there, they might actually be an effective tool...
