THIS is absolutely idiotic...it's more than a little disconcerting that we're allowed to watch athletes perform, but not hear what they have to say during the games, aside from NBC's coverage. So if some kind of controversy in an event comes up, athletes are not allowed to communicate with a broad audience? They're not allowed to blog to generate some interest in their particular event, which is broadcast internationally ONCE every FOUR years?
