You're miles from where anyone will find you

Boy, do I have some things for you. OH YES I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU.

First of all, it's NFL Draft Day. You're excited, right? I didn't think so. I'm hoping the Vikes take Darrius Heyward-Bey, personally. I wouldn't be opposed to trading up for Jeremy Maclin or down for a few more picks/players. Word on the street is that Anquan Boldin can be had on the cheap, so that might be an option as well.

Here are some tips on starting your side business.

Diikembe Mutumbo of the Houston Rockets suffered a career-ending injury. I think he was like 50 years old, so it's not a huge surprise, but it's too bad he has to go out like that. Known mostly for his finger wag after a blocked shot, he's done a lot of good for a lot of people (watch that video too - hilarious!). I mean seriously, who uses their earnings to build a hospital, except one dedicated man. You can read an ESPN analyst's letter to Mutombo here if you promise not to get all weepy.

Your video will go viral faster than ever - see what your friends are watching on Youtube in real-time. Yes, you can turn this feature off when you're watching the latest Jonas Brothers video.

Haven't seen one of these in the wild yet, but it's probably only a matter of time - how to detect ATM skimmers.

Useful ways to use Twitter.

The Website is Down, one of the most hilarious videos ever made (especially if you work in IT) has a second video.

After Google previously dropped the ball on social networking (see: orkut), they decided to roll some features into their own "profiles" area. It's supposed to make managing what people see when they google your name easier, though I haven't tried it yet. TechCrunch also has a blurb on it.

Side note without link: the This American Life taping in theaters KICKED ASS. I think the radio version of the episode will air next Sunday. They're also rebroadcasting it in theaters sometime in May - I was surprised that it sold out Block E, considering the price of tix ($20!). Good on them though, it cleared my conscience for not having contributed to TAL in awhile.

Cool way to find new music online, and maybe enhance your indie cred.
