NBA draft

OH MAN. It's draft time, fools. One of my favorite nights of the year. When new life is blown into the lungs of dying franchises. This year, there are a million rumors flying around. The Wolves have the #3 overall pick, and 2 out of the first four picks in the second round. Those second-round picks are pretty valuable, since players who sign them do not have to sign a contract according to the rookie scale (where place in the first-round determines your salary).

I've really got some high hopes for this draft. Not sure what's going to happen, but this year there are about 35-40 high-quality players, so I'm thinking we'll end up with 1 guy who will definitely make the roster and maybe one or two who might play overseas for a year or two. Heck, we might even trade down in the draft and get an established player as well. Exciting times for an nba fan...
