Housekeeping, revisited

That's right, kids, it's that time again! I've gotten too many links, and not enough to say about them, so it's time to go visit them on your own!

Here's a blog called Green Economics - it's brand-spankin' new, but looks pretty good to me.

Joey Stiglitz also has an op-ed piece about intellectual property, printed in the Pakistan Daily Times.

Lifehack has a list of Top 10 Google Maps implementations, including: find the cheapest gas in your neighborhood, find housing, distances between points, etc.

Hunter S. Thompson's ashes
are going to be shot off in a series of 34 mortars.

And here's a site that uploads a new out-of-print album each week...

It's now easier than ever to join the Ministry of Reshelving!

And mad props to the Twins, who took 2 of 3 from Oakland, and then proceeded to sweep the White Sox in Chicago. We're now only 4 games out of a wild-card spot, with another big series against the White Sox coming up next week...

And people have been ripping on the T-wolves for the Jaric-for-Cassell trade, but face it: Sam has already had his best years and can barely play D anymore. Is he clutch? Yes. But I'll take the flexibility of a 6'7" PG who can defend over Sam-I-Am any day. Besides, it will allow the Wolves to use McCants more (he can guard the PG, while Jaric guards the SG/SF).
