New Media?

I'm kinda pissed that my internet-searching skills are in decline, but I can't find any more information about this than what was written in Wired back at the end of July. The article is pretty short, and talks about the possibility of a new teevee channel (cable, I'm assuming) to counter the spin of Fox News and CNN. Maybe the author was just swept up in the moment of the Democratic Convention, but it seems like a good idea to me...
